Derek wasn’t only a co-founder of our league back in 1972 but also devoted a significant portion of his life to its development and success. Derek held colorful places including Chairman from 1981 to 1998 to his part as President since 1988, Derek’s commitment to the youth of Bournemouth through football has been unwavering. His passion and fidelity have touched the lives of numerous youthful players aged 7 to 16, ensuring they had access to the openings and mannas that youth football brings.

Beyond the boundaries of our league, Derek’s influence extended far into the community, where he lifelessly worked to promote and support youth football across the region.
